SATURDAY 17th AUGUST REGENTS PARK LONDON

Thirteen of us set off for our second London Walk of the year.

The sun was shining and everybody was in good spirits. We started our walk at Bond Street and then headed up to Marylebone and on to Regents Park where we stopped for coffee. Marylebone comes from the local church St Mary-at-the-Bourn.

We also passed Baker Street and Madam Tussauds. We crossed Regents Park and passed London Zoo. We then climbed to the top of Primrose Hill where we had our lunch.

My first photo shows an artist painting the stunning view of London.

We then walked to Camden Market where Sophie got to meet Amy Winehouse (second photo).

Then it was along Regents Canal to Kings Cross where we visited Wetherspoons. We then headed for home. Thanks to all those who took part.
