How We Collect and Use Information
 

We collect the following types of information about you: 

We ask for certain information such as your name, address, phone number and email address. We may also retain any messages you send to us and may collect information you provide. We use this information to communicate with you about membership, walks, newsletters and other relevant information. 
   

We will not pass on your information to third parties
 

How We Store and Protect Your Information 
 

Your information is kept electronically and manually by the Committee on a Bexhill Ramblers Club Membership database.
It will be used solely for the purpose of communication with Club Members in respect of Club business only. Any Officers of the Committee who hold your information personally, will delete such details upon leaving office.

If you do not wish us to retain information about you please advise us by contacting the Club Secretary or Membership Secretary. 
 

We will erase and/or destroy the information you have provided to us one year after your membership has ended. 
 

Whilst reasonable security measures are in place, nevertheless in the event that any information under our control is compromised as a result of a breach of security, we will take reasonable steps to investigate the situation and where appropriate, notify those individuals whose information may have been compromised and take other steps in accordance with any applicable laws and regulations.
