A beautiful sunny day to start our 5 mile walk around Ninfield. We had 9 ramblers including myself, obviously all needing a workout as the walk had 15 stiles.
The walk was mainly through the countryside. It was done at a nice steady pace. A few stiles needed some negotiation.
We saw a field containing wild orchids, beautiful. We went through a wood with an amazing display of bluebells. The scent was heavenly. We also came across some horses and alpacas. Some areas were quite muddy. One member found a large hole to slip is foot into, being stung by nettles in the process, he survived fortunately.
We finished at the Kings Arms for a coffee.
